HARD TO WATCH
A FRIENDSHIP DIE

It's sad to have a really close friend...
One that you thought
would be there 'till the end.

A friendship that was so sacred
and strong...
Who made everything right,
when things seemed so wrong.

It seems so tragic, 
It can make you cry...
It's so hard to watch a friendship die.

Did I say or do anything
 that made you turn away...
Was it something that I should have done...
Or something that I forgot to say...

We've been through
hell and heaven together...
And been there for each other
 in all our endeavors.

I know that my entire life
 I'll always wonder why...
It's hard NOT to know the reason...
As you watch a friendship die.
