Memories flow through my mind
Of the day when we first met.
The joy that beamed out from your eyes
Is something I'll never forget.
We shared such a beautiful moment
That neither of us had felt before.
And I know that now and forever
That moment will last evermore.
We had fun and laughter between us
And sometimes we shed a few tears.
The happiness we found on that special day
Will last throughout our coming years.
Those memories will carry me onward
To the time when we're at last together
The peace and serenity we have known
Will be with us now and forever.
