There is a simple little cottage
Nestled snugly by the sea.
It's windows shimmer
in the sun
As if calling out to me.
Thick lush foliage surrounds it
Sweet scent of flowers
fill the air.
It beckons out across the sea
As a peaceful haven to share.
Waves roll gently inward
Brushing softly onto the shore.
Sea birds run playfully
on the sand
Then over the cottage
they soar.
Two hearts will dwell
in this haven
